Spotify Discovery Mode

At Venice, we are always looking to grow our partnership with Spotify on behalf of our community. What this means for you is that you will be able to opt-in and opt-out your Venice-distributed releases for Spotify Discovery Mode through the Venice Platform!

• Starting around the 11th of each month, you may request any Venice distributed releases in your catalog that meet Spotify’s Discovery Mode eligibility criteria to be opted in (or opted-out) through the Venice Support portal:

  • Song has been released on Spotify for at least 30 days

  • Song has been streamed at least 20 times in Discovery Mode contexts in the last 28 days. Learn more about Discovery Mode contexts.

  • Song meets Spotify’s monetization eligibility criteria in the previous month

• Eligible tracks that were previously enrolled in a Spotify Discovery Mode campaign may be rolled over into the next month by default. You do not have to submit a request each month to opt-in a release that is already in an active campaign.

• If you wish to end a Spotify Discovery Mode campaign for a release, may submit a request form to remove the track from the upcoming month’s campaign.

• Please complete all release opt-in or opt-out requests by the 25th of the month to allow the Venice Support team ample time to process your Spotify Discovery Mode Campaign requests.
