What is considered “explicit” content?

Explicit = An explicit track is one that has curse words, language, or art that is sexual, violent, or offensive in nature. If you mark one track as explicit on your EP/album, the entire EP/album will carry the explicit tag.

If the content of your release is determined to be explicit by iTunes (this includes artwork) and is not marked as explicit, your release may be hidden from sale in the store.

Explicit content is not sold in certain territories (if there is a clean and explicit version of your release, only the clean version will be delivered in Korea).

Non-Explicit = A recording that does not contain curse words, language, or art that is sexual, violent, or offensive in nature.

Clean = A clean track is one that does not contain curse words, language, or art that is sexual, violent, or offensive in nature. Tracks should ONLY be marked as clean if there is another version of the same recording that is explicit.
